AU Type-C USB 3.1 Male to HDMI Female 4K Cable Adapter Converter for MacBook

Incompatible with HDTV. This product cannot be recommended.

I tried connecting this product from a 2017 MacBook Pro to two screens: a 2560x1440 Dell 27" monitor and a 1920x1080 3D TV via a Onkyo High-definition home theatre receiver via HDMI. The product works with the 27" Dell and presents a 1920x1080p image, both from macOS and Windows. The product does not work with the HDTV/receiver. It continually disconnected and then reconnected after 2-3 seconds. After a few more seconds, it disconnected again. It never worked long enough to be usable, both from macOS and Windows. As I wanted to be able to display onto both the monitor and the TV, I was hoping that to be able to connect it to either screen when the need arose. Unfortunately, it does not work with the HDTV/receiver so I cannot recommend it. I will look for an alternative product.

Excellent BD-R writer.

As a BD-R writer, this product works very well. It replaced an ageing burner from 2010 and is noticeably faster. Be aware that you'll need to connect it via USB 3.0 (or 3.1) or via SATA to get the best performance from it. It cannot burn at full speed if it's connected via USB 2.0. While it does come with a CD with media viewing software, the software is restricted in its ability and requires a separate upgrade fee to unlock its more advanced features. If your needs are simple, you can search for freeware which will fill your media playback needs rather than using the provided software. Finally, this drive that can be modified (by overwriting its firmware) to read UHD discs (a "UHD friendly" drive) but that will void its warranty so take care if you do proceed to alter its firmware. It ships with a firmware which refuses to recognise UHD discs.

L Rearview Mirror Glass Heated W/Holder For VW Golf GTI Jetta MK5 Passat B6 C AU

Provided holder does not fit into car's socket for the holder.

The holder does not match the original equipment that VW produces. As a result, it does not engage into the socket that it is supposed to sit in and it never "clicks" into place. So I removed the broken glass from my original mirror+holder and peeled off the backing holder from the purchased unit. I then glued the new mirror onto my original holder and put that back in. I would recommend buyers purchase just a mirror or if you do buy this, be aware that the holder won't fit into the socket and so be prepared to do some work to use the mirror (and keep your original holder because you'll need it).
