  The item received with broken tip at the end of the blade shaft. Plastic tip was broken and found at the bottom of the box. Box had been opened and retaped shut with no interior protection. I am sure the tip was broken prior to shipping due to the reduced price and looks of the box it came in. It doesn't seem to affect the operation at this point, time will tell.

  Tip was not broken when I examined the item. Box was taped to secure it for packaging. You could have contacted me as per label on the outside of the package before giving neutral feedback!
