Fantastic product which saves me in many situations
I really can not believe there is still not any review of this product. I bought this pliers 5 years ago, I professionally work as a service technician and this pliers rescued me in many situations and after really heavy duty use, they are still the same. I can not describe how tough and durable they are. Because of their strong grip and jaw, sometimes I use is also instead of locking pliers. Overall, really quality and really handy and trustful product. Today I am here because I will have to buy some other stuff from the same supplier.

Excellent for unserious photography, still immature for professionality.
1 of 2 found this helpful I already own three Canon 430EX I & II and one Canon 580EX. I bought YN-565EX because I needed one stronger flash than 430EX but for lower price than 580EX has. And I needed a flash to have HighVoltage connector (for additional battery pack). 430EX does not have this, 580EX is overpriced so I went with YN-565EX.
I like the build quality. I also own some other products from Yongnuo and I knew that this item must be well built. And on my opinion it is. There is also good thing that the menu looks just like in Canon Speedlites. I like the factory menu options and that it allows many thing to change/improve.
But what I don't like is its uncertainty. I used it two times as off-shoe flash powered with new and full Eneloops and with 100% working receiver and it just did not fire. Once just, other three times no. On 1/8 manual power. So I do not use it for any very important thing where I can not afford stay without flash.
And I do not like its very uneven brightness of the flash. If I do continious shooting on manual flash program with power 1/1, I get seven firings before it needs some time to recycle. And from this seven flashes two are normaly exposed and all others are differently exposed. It is seen that from third to seventh firing the luminated area is every shot a little darker. I don not have this problems with 430EX's or even 580EX.
But after all for the money it is offered, this product is not good but very good. Compared to other similar not very known brand names of flashes, no-one offer so many good factors in one flashgun for price like YN-565EX costs.
If I ever need another good flash for low cost and will not use it in a professional way, I will go with YN-565EX. It is enough good.
For every serious job like weddings, prom nights and similar, this flash is still under a question mark. Maybe it will work perfectly but.... what if not?
I would not take risk anymore. I did two times and have bad experiences and I will not again. Until they will improve its performance.

6 years in everyday use
I want to confirm this kneeling mat is just great. I have two of them from January 2012. I use both of them every day for at least altogether an hour each. I work as household appliances technician so I use these mats at costumers houses and in my workshop. They were in contact with concrete, water, dirt, grease, oil and numerous chemicals. I just wash them by hand using detergent and hot water and dry them outside or near heater and that's it. They are still usable but now I will buy new ones. Me and my knees deserve this, hehe. And old mats also deserve retirement.
