DOESN'T WORK ALL THAT WELL

The product is hard to rate as it's performance is not know because Sprint and/or the ZIng does not work well. Sprint says Excellent 4G coverage, the Zing only gets four-bars 3G, and that drops out frequently. The Zing looks nice, has a ton on features, but if it doesn't work, well??? I do have a comment about the Drop-Outs. Sometimes I get Alerts that it needs to Connect. I press the Connect button. Sometime it connects, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it connect but there is no Internet. It fails it go back to the Alert. Now a Soft Reset is supposed to be preformed. Directions: Turn off unit.Remove back cover. Pull battery. Re-install battery. Re-install back cover.Turn-ON. Usually it comes back and connect to get Internet. The WiFi works well . I noticed Sprint's new Franklin R910 hot spot has more frequencies, more bands. That could be the difference. Oh, you have to go to the store if you don't already have a Sprint Account to activate the unit. Sprint no longer has an arrangement with NetGear for Activation.
