Built-in power, clean, low and unassuming, buy it.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Energy XL-S10 is very easy to connect and use. It comes on automatically when music is being played. It is a true subwoofer that is not heard unless there is bass in the program, meaning it does not intrude on music. It does add a solid feel and "sexiness" to music and especially to movies & quality TV program msic. This is a large speaker, but I just put it on the floor and forget it. This speaker will not overpower a small to medium house. Set the level about 3. A great complement to smallish main speakers (mine are Sony).
