Good replacement for handy person.
It looks like a reasonable quality item but the wiring plug needs reworking as wires are too short and in plug differently plus the switch body is approx 8mm shorter than the original. As the originals are no longer available, choice is limited.

great tough and value for money, well crafted r/c car
These original old school Tamiya cars are great for either beginner as it's a simple build, or for the more advanced driver as a daily runner or practice car. They've been around a long time because the bang for buck is very good and they're tough enough to last, especially since a complete array of spares and hot ups are available.
