Greatest Hits is Best SH2 Version
2 of 3 found this helpful The Greatest Hits version was worth the money, especially with its extra content and additional graphics & lighting. Make sure to get this copy instead of the black labeled version of Silent Hill 2. Always make sure to research before buying!
Otherthan the Greatest Hits, the game has always been the best one out of the Silent Hill franchise. It's weird going back to 360p resolution graphics compared to HD Collection, but it's something to get used as a retro gamer. Gameplay plays very well, once you get used to the controls, but does feel less of a survival horror compared to Resident Evil. Thankfully there's a difficulty mode for this game that makes it challenging for Silent Hill fans. The real purpose of getting this game is its theme, art & music, and even the characters that makes the Silent Hill's psychological experience come to life. I'd recommend this to anyone with the craving for horror, and suits well for story driven fans.
4.5 out of 5 - It's a beautiful masterpiece and yet a depressing game that explores the depth of each character's state of mind, which manifest into the town of Silent Hill.
