Logitech C920 has major autofocus issue (wide problem, not a one-off issue)
The Logitech C920 looks nice and was easy to set up, but unfortunately it fails where it matters most - the image. This webcam has problems focusing on its subject. I sit 16-20" in front of the camera with my face dead center and a bright light focused on me. My face remains blurry and the camera can't find focus. Yes, I've gone through all the settings to make sure I'm not missing something obvious.
I know this webcam is capable of sharp focus because there are videos on YouTube with people showing how this issue is fixed by taking apart the entire camera and manually adjusting the lens. When they do that, the result video they show looks tack sharp. Honestly though, that's just sad that we, the consumers, have to basically perform surgery on this product to make it function correctly. Shame on you, Logitech.
