Not bad
1 of 1 found this helpful This movie deals with the pain of rejection and the fantasy of your long lost love returning years later because they regret ever leaving you. The acting isn't great but I still enjoy this movie every time I watch it. I think most women would identify with it on some level and the happy ending is something we all hope for, isn't it? For the guys who are forced to watch this with their girlfriend, Cheryl Ladd is beautiful throughout the film.

Either/Or
This is typical of every Stephen King story I know (and I've been a fan for 25+ years). If you read the book first, you'll be disappointed with the movie. If you see the movie first, you'll probably really like it. This movie is great, as long as you haven't read the book. Haven't read it? Go ahead and buy this DVD. I'm sure you'll find it very scary. Enjoy!

Entertaining and interesting
I always loved this show in the 70's but 50 years later, I can see how much it dealt with the social and political issues of the day. To me, that makes it interesting, not just entertaining. The only thing I wish were different is all the loud arguing and shouting that Maude does with Walter. I find it a little over the top but that's by today's standards, I guess.
