F.Dick 900 gram cleaver
Love my FDick cleaver. Hefty piece, very well constructed. Glad I purchased this 900 gram version was considering its big brother. “The axe” as it’s been affectionately nicknamed, is big, heavy and sharp. It effortlessly chops through large pieces of meat/bones and hard veggies and gives quite a forearm workout. Treat and use it with respect. As Doug Marcaida would say; “this blade here, it will cut”.

Wusthof Ikon 20cm “it will cut”.
What to say about Wusthof knives? The 20cm ikon is a cutter, it’s curved handle is comfortable to hold and the edge is very sharp out of the box. Family business, making knives over two centuries. Must be doing something right, that’s good enough recommendation for me.
