Excellent results - pro level hair dryer
My wife loves it! If you have tough to manage hair this might be the hair dryer for you. Ionic technology prevents your hair from cooking.
My wite’s hair stylist uses the same brand and maybe one tier up from this one.

Not your typical Scotland Yard pot boiler
As of now this was the latest release in this series. Start with “The Yard”. The second book “The Black Country” is among the best books I have read in this genre. I started with that novel and reading the first book was not required to understand any of it.
Superb characterization; characters are three dimensional with shades for of grey. Clever plotting, with some unforeseen plot developments in each book. None of which are obvious, lame or deus ex machina.
I don’t recommend this as your entry point to the series. Start with the book immediately following “the Black Country” if you don’t want to begin from the start. This book will have very little resonance and drama without having read the one before it

Earlier work, one of his best
I read this at the time of first paperback release and go back to it once every 4 years.
For me, it holds up very well. There’s a Ray Bradbury like quality to some of the imagery and writing.
I bought this as a readers copy for someone at work.
