AKG makes the best niche Noise-Cancelling headphones, period
2 of 2 found this helpful This is my favorite brand of headphones, hands down. Sound is subjective - even across different brands which each offer very good quality, it does still come down to some level of personal preference, especially for 'Audiophiles'. So my condensed take -
If you:
-Love crisp, 'present' sound with VERY rich mid range and excellent highs, these are for you.
-Love On-Ear, cushioned, comfortable ear pads with excellent noise-cancelling - these are for you.
-if you:
-Primarily want big bass, especially for Hip-Hop/EDM, these might not be for you
For me, across a variety of genres but especially Rock, Pop, Classical and Acoustic guitar/Piano, these are absolutely top and the noise cancelling is quite good. I would *possibly* say Bose's NC headphones are a little better noise cancelling, but I dislike the bass-heavy sound and "flat" mid range on Bose, personally.
Hope this helps. Do a little research on what you prefer, there are plenty of top products in this space, but for the $$ I think AKG is the best quality for the types of music and mid-range preference I mentioned.

fantastic camera!
Best digital camera on the market at this pricing! Trust me you won't be disappointed, image quality and video are absolutely phenomenal, and Sony's overall design is outstanding.
