Great pictures and history
This is a great book if you like engines, beautiful pictures and a lot of good early history on internal combustion engines and the people who got this fledgling industry off the ground.......
Who says guys aren't romantic, with a title like this??? :)

Great read with lots of interesting facts and figures on Lockeed spyplanes
I bought this book to replace the same one I read years ago, but lent to someone and never got it back. There are so many amazing facts in this, especially about the SR-71 Blackbird, that I just had to get a copy back.
The author actually worked and helped design the planes that lockheed built, so you can rely on the facts and stories that are told, and there are many of each.
If you're interested in military planes or simply technological advances. this will be a good read, and easy to read as well.
what more can I say - I've bought it twice now!
