Rating the XCG-V Tour Edge Exotic driver
3 of 3 found this helpful This club is amazingly beautiful and solid. Probably the most "bag appeal" of any driver I have owned. I am 66 yrs old with a 6 handicap and my clubhead speed clearly does not get the most out of the Graphite Design "X" shaft on this club. I hit it dead straight, however, and don't notice any appreciable loss of distance. All trouble to the left is eliminated and I have absolute confidence of hitting fairways. I think it would take clubhead speed of at least 115 mph to max the club out, but even speeds at my level (105 mph) work fine in terms of accuracy. I am totally pleased and now have a driver that will work on the tightest of courses.
