Nulon G70 can help
I've used G70 for many years since discovering it reduces 5th gear whine and makes cold shifting a little easier in my Land Rover Defender's R380 gearbox. Because of that I also use a little in the LT230 transfer case and the Rover and Salisbury differentials. Remember though that apart from respect, regular servicing with quality lubricants is your car's best friend.
