Great representation of an important vehicle in latter stages of WW2.

This Hornet has a sting in the tail!
A smashing representation by Oxford Diecast of one of Eric "Winkle" Brown's favourite aircraft of all time. What is really striking is just how slim and dainty the Hornet was in comparison to other twin or that matter single engine fighters of this period. As this is the navalised version of the Hornet, a particularly nice feature is the arrester hook. Versions with the undercarriage fully retracted or deployed are a very nice touch. And did I mention the super presentation box too? Overall, definitely one that looks very good for all fans of piston powered military aviation.

A perfect Panther!
Great model. Why oh why can't Corgi produce models like this again!
