House of Bamboo (DVD, 2005) Noir Robert Ryan Robert Stack Shirley Yamaguchi

Great film about American corruption in post war Japan.
Early Sam Fuller, shot on location in post war Japan, starring Robert Ryan and Robert Stack. House of Bamboo is a color film, unlike some of his other war films of this era, Steel Helmet and Fixed Bayonets. I think this is one of Fuller's better films.
Pier Paolo Pasolini - Trilogy of Life (Criterion Collection) [New DVD] Subtitled

Passolini from the early 1970s. Engaging trilogy.
I am a Italian film buff and I have a few of Passolini films in my collection. I want nothing to do with Salo, though, so this is as far as I will go in his works. I enjoyed Hawks and Sparows and Mama Roma, so buying this trilogy was worth it.

Nice price, enjoyable show from the 1990s, early 2000s
So far, so good. Have viewed 4 dvds and no problems. This is a great show from the past and I am glad to have all episodes I can look at periodically, on my own schedule, rather than relying on streaming or tv/cable showings.
