Tippet rings save your fly line.
Anytime you need to tie your leader to the fly line you use up valuable front taper. So if you change your leader often due to changing fly styles or that monumental bust off, you can use a tippet ring directly on the fly line and save tying new knots between the leader and fly line every time. Simply attach the new leader to the tippet ring. What could be simpler and the knots used to attach to the tippet ring (on both sides) are often stronger, more streamlined and more reliable than those cumbersome leader to fly line knots!

Alexandra 70 HW Sinking
The finish on this lure is outstanding. Easy to use in waters 30 feet and more. When ripped the action is so much like the local forage fish. Predators don't hesitate and they hook up well on the single hooks. Sinking lures are not for every situation, but I love this one and will be buying a lot more. Have only tried the Ayu and Stream Shad colours, but there's not a dud colour in the range. I want them all!
