As a used item, probably not worth buying.
When new, these were the very best analog recorders for music and voice recording. However, as they age, the main tendency is for the volume circuit to fail...rendering the unit totally worthless. I have purchased over a dozen of these and had pretty good luck until recently...age and neglect takes a heavy toll on this type of equipment.

Unknown original quality; poor quality when received.
Have no real way of telling if this product was ever really good...my experience with this type of recorder tells me that it was probably a very good recorder at one time. However, since this one was in sad shape when I received it, I have no way of knowing if it was ever really of any substantial quality.

Inexpensive, but truly trustworthy for file transfer between cassette tapes and PC
Though these units are cheaply made, they perform well when transferring cassette tapes to computer [via USB] using Audacity software. Since I do this daily, I depend upon one of these to do the job.
