A handbook for Mums who want to nurture and help their babies to sleep.
I call this my 'Beth' book. I heard Beth speak at a conference and have been a fan every since. I like to give this book to new Mums, control crying makes me feel sick, letting a child cry isn't a way of nurturing. This book helps you to understand why babies wake up, why their brains are not mature and are still growing. That they don't wake on purpose, they're needy and dependent which is just how it is. The authors are Australian Mums who back up their information with research which is listed in the back of the book and the related research is easy to get from the internet. It's an Australian book so doesn't compare to other cruel books that come from 'experts' who have had no children. (0:

We are great fans of this show, and have missed a serious, so it's great to catch up!

Excellent for schooling at home. We know it's the curriculum and it's split into terms. Easy!
Schooling from home. Printed sheets are boring, the kids love the colour in these maths books. I'm happy that it's the curriculum for the state we are in, and it aligns with what they are being taught at school. The book is split into terms with a revision at the end of each section. So we started by doing the Term 1 revision. Each question refers to a page number. When she couldn't answer a question, we could go to the page number it referred to, and learn how to get the answer. Terrific!
