95mm metal thread badly manufactured, so refuses to screw properly on my lens. Popped off in the field twice because of this.

Screen viewfinder is a loser
If you do your shooting outside in the open air and the sun is shining, forget about it. That viewfinder window attracts glare big time. Since there is no eyepiece viewfinder you are stuck with that lousy flip out screen --framing your subject is nearly impossible, no adjustments. Other than that, nice camcorder. Oh, and no hot shoe for a generic attachment on top, and no remote control. Time lapse controls, zoom--- nice.

What about a remote?
1 of 1 found this helpful Why no inclusion or mention of a separate (their so-called) Smart Remote? Does GoPro still have something that is actually reliable and predictable? Mine sure is not. Will they ever do a software fix for it? Camera is great, but using it with their remote is the best way to miss the spontaneous shots. I bought three remotes and none of them are reliable. Buyer beware.
