NEW Woodland Scenics Track-Bed 2 (36) HO ST1461
09 March 2018
Nice alternative to cork.
I decided to use this roadbed on my new layout and I'm happy with it. I have layed about 300 feet of it. It has some drawbacks, especially around turnouts but overall works well. Some pieces are a little wider than others - that's kind of a problem, but still workable. I've used cork before, and not I'm sure which I like better. I'm eventually going to add gravel so either choice was OK for me. I did not use the recommended glue. I felt that it was expensive, with no benefit. I used regular contact cement to glue down. I put a thin (and by the way, thin works best by far) layer on each piece and on my plywood layout and waited about ten minutes and then layed the trackbed.

Walthers HO Scale Mission-Style Freight House Building Kit # 933-2921 , NEW
09 March 2018
Really like this little kit.
I added this freight station kit next to the passenger station that makes a set. If interested, try to find the package set with both together--it should be much cheaper this way. Makes for a nice desert or southwestern style look with stucco type walls. Walthers has discontinued these kits so you might have to hunt around to get both buildings.
