Will maneuver small tandem caravans
1 of 1 found this helpful This jockey wheel works great on my Jayco Westport with tandem axles. The supplier recommends the jockey wheel on single axles but my tandem with a tare weight of 1480t works fine, The biggest tip i can recommend is use the mount that comes with the wheel, it is a lot strong then your standard mount as I tried to use my existing mount that was on the van, soon as i tried to turn the van the screw in bolt on the mount stripped straight out the mount.
This jockey wheel is quite powerful as i have to come through the gates on an angle and a slight raise to get past my shed. a couple of times it started to spin but i just gave the van a push and the wheel re gripped and kept going.

First time start very hard due to sticky auto throttle
2 of 2 found this helpful Was very hard to start for the first time, eventually after lots of frustration it was worked out that the auto throttle was sticky. So it would just flood because there was no air being mixed with the fuel and wouldn't start . If it happens again I need to take the cover off again to give the auto throttle a flick to free it up, lets hope it sorts it self out over time.
In regards to how the generator performs, I hooked it up to my caravan and it ran multiple things including the air con with no problem.
Just a bit annoyed with the first time trying to start the generator.
