Has worked well so far. I think is surprisingly silent. No noise whatsoever. Easy to position and to remove watch. Big watch pillow-adapter is included. Watch is always protected by a transparent access cover. Good many features. Flexible winding programs. On-Off switch. Completely easy to set.

One of the best buys I have made. This network switch is very good!
In short, this product seems to be better designed than prior iterations.
The switch itself does not gets hot. The AC to DC converter is very small and does not gets hot.
How will you know your are buying the new DGS-1008G? Simple: The top of the switch is not flat, is curved.
I definitely recommend this switch to you.
The reason to give it 4 stars out of 5 is because of its curved top. This shape and the fact that half of its vents are located there does not allows stacking other devices on top.
