Wonderful and a MUST for this charging device.
This works great, It can recharge hearing aides at least 5 times which covers most quick trips. This makes weekend camping trips so much better. It was a little hard getting the lock slider on the bottom of the battery to engage and lock it in place, but with the help of a small screw driver instead of a finger nail did the trick. I really don't understand why they sell this separately, as it is so useful it should just be part of the package deal....

Works great...!
This is a wonderful unit that records outstanding audio...
With that said the only problems I have had (and it's mainly on me) is navigating the setup menus. They seem to not be easy to understand and not intuitive. Granted I don't use this on a daily basis so I end up having to carry a print out of the manual with me to navigate the advanced settings for setting up more than one microphone. The only other complaint would be the 'under engineered' 1/4" tripod mount on the bottom. When I purchased the unit (used) this mount was broken, but a bit of JB-Weld glue seems to have fixed it for the interim. I have ordered a replacement part easily from the very helpful staff at Tascam for $6. But the dinky tiny metal piece has made me not trust this to hold the weight of the camera and side monitor on top of it unless in a non-moving studio environment... even then I'd think twice. Lately I've just used an extra lighting tripod to hold it by its self next to my camera setup.
As mentioned, all in all it is a wonderful addition to my video equipment setup, but I really need to practice setting up different mic combinations as to not look so unprofessional flipping through a ratty bunch of papers setting up the digital recorder at the time of filming on site...

Great setup for the price...!
This is the perfect setup for a beginner looking to start studio style photography. The (3) 45w CFL lights are a bit dimmer that I would have likes but work well enough for my needs. The 85w giant light bulb is perfect, casting a nice even bright light. I had one defective soft box protective bag where the seam had not been sewed, I emailed them and it was replaced lightning fast with little to no question. I only had to send them a photo of the issue and the replacement was in the mail the next day. There is absolutely nothing I can say negatively about this company or the transaction....
