Excellent Historical Viewpoint and Explaination

Absolutely excellent. I remember when it came out and I had not seen all the episodes. So it was a real treat to find the whole set. I believe the computer animation that they used was state of the art for the time (a little dated now) but really far superior than old flight footage to explain the story. The live interviews are very good. You can feel the passion of these guys and it is clear why they are the Greatest Generation. Too bad there is nothing comparable to watch today. Maybe because these guys did such a good job making this series that there is little room for improvement today.
