Not very soft.
0 of 1 found this helpful the product stops the loud bang on the shooting range and lets you hear normal talking but the ear plugs are hard on the ears not very soft and quite large I do not think I would be able to wear them for very long so I would not recommend this product even though it does what it claims to do it is just too hard.

Good But Has Problems
The grip is easy to install and seems to be quality product but keeps slipping down and stops the mag from seating this could be a problem in a frequent clip change shoot.

Works great if you take your time and don't force the knife I have cut lots of foam since purchasing this knife with no problems.
