Good bang for your buck.

I use a Miller 452 with a Series 70 wire feeder. This unit works as advertised to instantly go to the darkness setting ( variable) you select. Once the weld cools enough, it goes back to clear. Simple as that. Comes with the battery installed. Extra outer shield included in the event you brake it or get weld splatter on it. Good instruction manual as well. Lightweight.

Money saver deluxe!

Used the smallest one to extract a 4 x 40 cap screw in Valenite 3/4" threading tool that had the Allen socket worn out. Could not get it loose to replace the indexable carbide inset. The left handed drill did the trick and saved a $75 tool and $8 insert.
