Not just for LED Strip-lights,,,
Recommended with the caveat that although the terminals have a drop-down cover as minimum accidental touch protection, this unit is intended to be installed inside another device where the following is available:
1. Mains lead strain-relief or insulated IEC-type chassis socket - this is for electrical safety
2. Local switching - personal preference. In an LED-lighting situation, this is not an issue but these power supplies are used for other electrical projects, such as 3D printers (my application) where as switch on the device which this unit powers would be convenient and arguably safer.
Other than that, this unit proved to be a direct drop-in replacement, with the same power rating and mounting holes as the original power-supply for my TronXY X6D 3D printer which had failed.

Own an acrylic frame printer - make this your next upgrade
After cutting my 3D printing teeth on a Tronxy P802D (aka X6D), a clone of a clone of a Prusa i3, it was time for an upgrade.
I'd seen a lot of love shown online for the Ender 3, all of the support (which is huge compared to the Tronxy P802D), and took into consideration Angus's reservations (Maker's Muse on YouTube) .
Simply put, once you've got used to the traps for new players that are associated with 3D printing in general, then moving from the P802D to the Ender 3 was, in print-quality terms, an improvement by an order of magnitude.
