Hockey puck as a base for shucking oysters!

I bought this specifically to use as a base to shuck oysters. I am tired of hand shucking... and need a board or something to table shuck. I had the bright idea to get a puck, then use it to sit the oyster on, then shuck awy! Blasted though a doz the other day... stabbed the puck 4 times (better than stabbing my hand, or chipping the table / sink). BEST IDEA I ever had....
