Garmin 010-10908-00 Portable Friction Mount

Glad I found this!

After having the included suction cup mount fall off the windscreen very frequently during Australia’s hot summers, the suction cup mount seemed to have fallen out of the car and was lost. I come across this mount when trying to find a replacement and was very happy I did! This mount is a bit pricey but it is good quality and well made. It is weighted and has a high friction neoprene like surface on the bottom and stays put on the dash mat in my car but would work equally as well on the dashboard surface. This seems better than the other Garmin friction mount on the market which has just a plastic base and rubber bottom. I compared the two in store and this mount is heavier and has the benefit of being more flexible with a bean bag base compared to a fixed plastic base.
