Sony CyberShot H2O digital camera
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm planning a 'real' vacation in 2010, and did not want to risk using a film camera,and return home to find that my pictures did not turn out. Digital was the obvious way to go, however I was new to the digital photo world. I'm almost 50, always need my bi-focals, and am by no means a techno-grannie. So I read a lot of camera reviews, and went to a few stores to 'play' with a variety of brands and models before I decided that the Sony CyberShot H2O was the camera I wanted to purchase.
Favorite features: It has a 10 x optical zoom for distance/scenery shots, and the 3 inch LCD screen is sweet for viewing. The image stabilization feature was another attractive element as I plan to take pictures on land, air and sea. Best of all the camera really is easy to use.
Black Friday sale price was $229.99 in my home town. List priced up to $279 some places, and I got a screaming deal at just under $180! I also found great deals on additional memory, and rechargable lithium batteries from two other on-line sellers.
I'm thrilled to have found a great quality camera, and a really great deal.
