Readable and understandable
This is, by far, the best book I've read about politics. Spiller makes you feel like you're having a pint with someone who really knows their stuff. I read the whole thing in less than 24 hours after receiving it. The book gets to the heart of why different people act and think the way they do, but in a non-judgmental way. The final part about how the mechanism of parliament and government actually function is something I'll refer back to again and again.

The box-set contains every single episode, and has a smattering of special features including behind-the-scenes looks at aspects of the show as well as audio commentaries. If you're a casual viewer or a committed fan, I'd recommend this boxset to any and all!
