Try to avoid it...
I bought it for shooting some videos. I didn't expect much, but what I got was well below my expectations. This camera only works well in bright sunshine. Inside it just cannot make well-enough videos: grainy, unshapr etc. when it comes to studio environments, it goes mad: WB problems, out of focus, high ISO etc. Nothing works then.

Get one if you can.
I bought this lens for my Canon 600d. I take photos and shoot videos. This lens is superb. The images are sharp, and it is great for videos. The only drawback is the minimum focal length i.e. 120cm - although, you can get closer with the macro mode.

Good companion for business purposes too
We have been working with videos since the time before the HD era. We shoot educational videos in a fairly difficult environment that requires more advanced manual control. This camera is exceptional. Compared to our previously used Sony SR12, this camera is utter joy to work with both in studio and in post production.
So, if you are a video blogger or want to shoot some short videos to market your business, this camera is a great choice.
