Look elsewhere. Not a good item.

The 501B body is tried and tested, being lightweight and strong. The LED emitter is not very impressive at all. It has a very tight spot which is bright enough but only about 6 inches across at a distance of about 8 feet. The spill beam is barely visible at this distance. For me, a UV light should have quite a wide angle and as such this light is not really fit for purpose. The listing also said it had a single mode, however it has three, being high, dim and strobe. Again this is pretty useless for a UV light where all you really want is on/off. Still at the price its a throwaway item, which is what I will probably end up doing with it.
