Works well but may take some adjusting to fix older weed trimmers
I bought this for my 16 year old Shindaiwa weed trimmer. This head style was actually newer than what was on my trimmer now. It took some time to install the new head as they are not exactly interchangeable. The only issue I have with it is that the entire head is the "bump string releaser" so if you get tired and the head skims the ground briefly, it releases more string. I find that I am using 2x the line than I did with the old style head that had a small center "bump" head. It is very easy, however, to load the new line in.

Don't waste your money
Go out and buy a piece of cheap fleece, sew a tube with unfinished edges and that will yield the same result. Cheap fleece; it frays at the edges because it is not finished. It is literally a fleece tube of fabric. That's it. No velcro to size it etc. Only kept them because it was too much money to send them back!

Functional - feelings mixed as to recommending it
The price is certainly reasonable but there is nothing special about it to note except that the horn cover also serves as the storage bag. If you keep your stirrups short, it will cover the stirrups as shown. However, if you are even moderately tall and ride with long stirrups, you will have to "roll or fold" you stirrups up to fit in the cover. I am OK with it because of the price and all I really need it for is to keep my saddle dust free in the trailer as there is no separation between the horse and tack area. Hope this helps.
