Excellent quality
Audio engine makes some of the best speaker systems out there. They are in the audiophile category in terms of their sound, and they are very well made- built to last.
A shout-out to the store in L.A. who sent the unit to me- they did an outstanding job packing the subwoofer for shipping.

A no-brainer.
1 of 1 found this helpful This unit is virtually noiseless to the human ear. It is entirely passive, so it requires no power source, and as a result has no self-noise. I needed to set up my Alexa Input to my powered speakers, but also keep my Tascam CD/USB player connected, and also have an auxiliary output for my Sony pro field recorder. I took 5 minutes to plug the outputs of each (adapting the output of my Tascam from 2 RCA connectors to a stereo mini plug), and played content from each source to get a rough level. I now have all 3 sources connected to my speakers via this one device that’s the size of 2 decks of cards stacked on top of each other. I’m very happy with the device and highly recommend it for similar uses.
