The Four Agreements and The Golden Rule are essential instructions for life
I would recommend The Four Agreements to anyone and everyone. Truth be told, when I first got the book I read the inside flap with a brief explanation of the Agreements; I didn't read the whole book until a year or so later. But just reading that brief synopsis was enough to feed me with plenty to ponder. My mind immediately went to work applying the Agreements. As time went on I was amazed that such simple instructions had such profound meanings. Like stones on water, the Agreements rippled outward and reached into so many parts of my life and experience. I purchased five copies recently to give to my daughter's friends as a high school graduation present. I knew that I wanted to gift them with a book, and could think of no better or more fitting one than The Four Agreements.
