BETTER DESIGN AND MAGNETS MIGHT MAKE US HAPPY
These toys are basically good for small single stack subcompacts handguns such as the LC9, SW Shield or Nano. And should be listed in the description to be fair to the individuals that have slightly larger, higher capacity firearms. Should of known good strong strip magnets still don't exist. Also when you grab your firearm when mounted, lets say in a realistic heated situation, because the mounting is so close to the wall its mounted too, the holder just breaks away from the surface and fails. In a heat of a critical moment you would have to use the tips of your little fingies to initiate a grab for the gun handle causing you to have to fumble the firearm as you reposition it firmly in your grip. Not a safe situation in my opinion. But it looks pretty in my safe? Anyway I will be modifying the two I purchased for proper mounting and functionality. The materials used seem to be adequate but that's all I can say in my evaluation.
