Works Perfectly

Easy to replace in my DeWalt DC983 cordless drill. The rear cap of the drill comes off with 4 screws so the brushes are easy to get to. It had been sparking heavily and creating a lot of ozone. I removed the old brushes which were badly worn and cleaned the commutator and surrounding area of carbon and crud.
After replacing the brushes (which take some effort to snap in to place) the drill was much more responsive and within a few minutes of running settled down to minimal sparking and no ozone smell.
These brushes appear to be OEM in DeWalt packaging.

Very Fast Laptop
This is a terrific laptop for someone that isn't going to be lugging it around much. Great screen, very fast and reliable.
The downside is that it's pretty heavy, it is after all a portable workstation. If you want a solid desktop replacement that is fast and has great graphics, this is the one.
