Don't buy older Fender G-DEC 30 without SD slot and tweeter!
3 of 3 found this helpful Make sure you buy the newest version of the G-DEC 30 Fender combo amp. I bought the newest model before this one with a 10" speaker and a tweeter and it just blew me away. Especially the Jazzmaster amp setting. It has USB midi for Fuse software manipulation. I thought it would be great to have regular midi in & out inputs so I could play synth guitar and electric guitar simultaneously using one amp; but, the earlier model with this feature doesn't have the many extras and it has pitifully bad guitar sound. I think the speaker is actually a 10" not a 12" as listed. I tried to use this earlier model also at a live gig and everyone noticed the poor sound quality. I swapped it out after the first set. Remember to only buy the newer G-DEC 30 with 10" and tweeter and you will be in love! The newest model also has the SD card feature!
