Main Offender Classic Keith Richards!
Man this guy can do everything from Chuck Berry to Al Green to Peter Tosh on this CD. His Voice sounds great! He obviously had been saving some stuff for a Stones LP and said What the F**k and did himself, (seeing as Mick was too at that time). You'll get the idea that the real Musical Director of the Rolling Stones is our man Keith. Rock on brother! We Love you!(Just like we loved George in that other little Brit Group!).~Cactus Pete

This Wheel's on Fire by Levon Helm
If you Love the Band and want to hear some of the honest history behind how hard they worked to get to the stop where they could write & record their own music you'll Love this book. It's amazing these guys never died on the road with all the driving they did cross country back in the early Sixties with the Hawks. Levon minimizes some of the troubles and explains the demise of their original group dynamic. Albert Grossman sure worked hard to distroy some of our Best performers careers. Wish he would have covered the Festival Express Train Trip with Janis & Jerry back in the summer of 1970 with more details (probably doesn't remember that Rick Danko almost missed the train!).You know when Bob Dylan is your regular returning member, Eric Clapton and George Harrison want to join your Band that you must be doing something right! I only got to see them once right after Woodstock at an All day outdoor Festival with about half of the other Woodstock performers. Sure wish I had moved to Woodstock at some point back then. Go see Levons Barn Show if you're ever up in the area. He has a dinner/theatre/ Jam Seesions on Monday Nights I believe. Sure wish we could see the Rock of Ages show in it's entirety on DVD....Peace, ~Cactus Pete

Want RARE Stones Tunes LIVE at small Venue? Here it is!
Well I've been following these Bad boys since it was Brian's Band. I love it when these old farts take a risk and actually play Songs multi-tracked on records twenty five years ago and decide to do it Live in a small Venue. Could Really fall flat on yer Arse now couldn't ya? Well th Stones pulled it off on this one and Marty got it all down on tape! ALL Down the line, Lovin' Cup, Tumblin' Dice Live with Me, You've got the Silver,Connection to name a few. Chuck Leavell adds alot of tqasty licks on Loving Cup & Tumblin Dice. Bobby Keyes is there (of Course! Almost since Buddy died).Ronnie Wood carries it all on his back as usual (Keith is more than Lucky!).Add Buddy Guy, Jack Black & Christina Aguilera and you GOT a Classic Stones Show in NYC! Who would have thought they'd be ALIVE this long and still sounding so GOOD... Ladies & Gentleman the Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the World.... Peace,~Cactus Pete
