Great Vacuum at a Great Price
We have had a couple of Dyson V6 vacuums previously (one in the house and one in a previous RV) and we have always loved them. Our current V6 has served us well, but is starting to show it's age. I came across this deal from Dyson on the V10 Animal and decided to give it a try. It's less than half of the normal retail, plus has a better warranty than a new one.
I am amazed at the difference between our V6 and this V10. It is amazing how much it picks up. We have two inside dogs, one is a mini Aussie that loses enough hair in a week to build a small dog!! This V10 picks up hair, prevents it from winding itself around the roller bar in the motorhead and is a breeze to empty the oversized canister.
I did order (from Amazon) another "head" for it for hardwood floors and it fits perfectly and works great on bare floors as well as short-nap rugs/carpet. We have a combination of floor types in our home - some carpet, some hardwood, some area rugs and even some tile in the utility room.
Bottom line - this V10 handles them all, especially with the $20 hardwood floor attachment I got from Amazon.
