Good plot!
Slightly disappointed with the start, seemed like it was going to be a bit like a 'survival' story - maybe that was just how I imagined Mr Grylls would write a novel - however, sticking with it, the story line became very interesting and was in the end a very enjoyable read. I will read the next Will Jaeger installment.

Colour not accurate!
Well made, lifelike shell but it's a pity that more attention has not been paid to the colouring of the pigeon. The large white bars on the wings are not normally seen unless the bird is in flight. Also a bit glossy when new although time and some wire wool will sort that. Be prepared to do a little artistry yourself to get these shells looking the part.

Read the Resnick books - a must!
John Harvey and his character Resnick are excellent. Read the series as the books unfold, you won't be disappointed. Good British stuff - it's such a change from LA Cops etc
