KYB strut-plus gave vehicle very stiff ride

Replaced all 4 struts on my impala with KYB strut-plus and they are pretty stiff. Car rides pretty rough now. Some people might call it a "sporty" suspension but that's not what I was going for. Not what I expected at all. However, they seem like a very nice quality strut and installed very easy.
