Awesome amp for home or car subwoofers!
I bought this amp not for my car, but to power a subwoofer as part of my computer 5.1 system. I paired it with a Pyle PLW10BL in a ported box. It's being fed with the subwoofer channel out of my 5.1 sound card and being powered by a 12V Xbox 360 16A power supply. Since it's being used indoors I don't need to crank the volume to max and this brick has plenty of power to make it unbearably loud already. The amp itself is great. The red logo lights up when it is powered up. The low pass filter is great for adjusting the cutoff for bass while the gain knob allows you to match the subwoofer's volume with your main speakers (a Logitech z506 5.1 setup with its sub off in my case). The rating of 350W may be an overstatement, however, because the fuse is only 20A. At 12V, this amounts to 240 Watts RMS (12*20=240). That's still a lot of subwoofer bass power, however, and I've only let it pull around 50W (measured with a Kill-A-Watt on the power supply) because it was shaking the floor pretty hard. For a subwoofer amp, that's great, because it means there's plenty of reserve power for larger rooms or noisy environments. It does not come with the high level input connector. This is needed if you plan to pull your input signal from another amplifier (such as a factory head unit in a car). The amp has both low level (RCA connectors) and high level (a 6-pin connector) inputs. The 6-pin connector is similar to a PCIe power connector from a computer supply, so it might be possible to repurpose one of these connectors if you need high level input.

Cheap yet effective for DIY projects
The ESP-01 microcontroller module is often cheaper than Arduino Nano clones, and I thought those were cheap. The ESP has a much faster processor and more storage/RAM for more complex code. It also has WiFi which makes it perfect for integrating your projecs into the "Internet of Things". It does operate at 3.3V, so if you're used to 5V Arduino boards you'll need to grab some regulators. It can be programmed using the Arduino IDE with ESP8266 plugins. I am using a bunch of these for RGB WS2811 Christmas lights and decorations which all sync to music via WiFi.
