Breaks the Zelda mold
2 of 3 found this helpful Before I played this game I had heard people say, "the last few games were formulaic, but this one bucks the trend." I wasn't happy about that, because I really like the recent Zelda, and I was afraid Nintendo migjt screw this up, especially after I heard it was going to be open-world.
Rest assured, I was wrong. Dead wrong.
This game breaks the Zelda mold in all the right ways. It exchanges a monolithic sword choice for a huge variety of weapons. It exchanges seven or so massive dungeons for four and a hundred mini-dungeons scattered across the world.
The characters are all engaging and likable in their own ways, and the English voice acting is great.
I can confidently say that this game deserves a full five stars.
