Powerful and quiet

This versatile mixer is powerful and quiet. We also have the Kitchenaid (they're side by side) and the HB compares quite favorably. The only complaint I have is that you have to reach around to the back to press the button to tilt the head up.

Breville Rules

We've tested this oven in nearly all its modes and it has performed perfectly. Set brown toast at 5. Perfect. Pizza crust and pizza: superb. Baking rolls made from scratch: flawless. Fast preheat, easy to use, easy to maintain. Plus it looks like a serious piece of equipment on our countertop, matches our Cuisinart coffeemaker, food processor, etc.
