Makita, that says it all

As with all my Makita tools, it performs well and then some. While I am only an amateur furniture maker, while I don't use it day in and day out, when it is used, it goes hard out and does not miss a beat. I use a lot of recycled hard woods, Jarrah and Kaari mostly. It handles the removal of rusterd coach bolts and the like with ease, someithing I had prerviiously had had to use a grunty corded drill before. Now I have the the same power but with the convenience now of cordless.

Great for Nuts and Bolts

It cuts a beautifully smooth sided hole ideally suitable for wood threading, which is what I bought it for. The only down side is, the larger sizes suitable for 1 1/2" (38mm) and the also necessary 1 3/8" (35mm) which are also made by Star-M. I have found the Star-M to be the very best Brad Point drill bit on the market. I just wish the whole range had been offered.
