Great deal if your old halogen lamp socket will accept this product.
I initially had bad experience with one of the bulbs and thought all were bad, because the bulb didn’t put out much light, but I found another G 6.35 reading lamp that proved compatible with the bulb and it lit up as bright as the old 50 watt halogen bulb. The bulb is longer as well as thicker in diameter for the second fixture. I was able to reshaped the reflecting dish to enlarge the bulb insertion opening to accommodate this bulb. This desk lamp will last me a life time now, using only 7 watts and is cool to the touch.

Fairly accurate instrument
1 of 1 found this helpful The instrument is not perfectly accurate, but probably good enough for this price range. The remote sending unit when placed next to the indoor unit, it doesn't indicate the same temp or humidity. It really bother the perfectionist scientist. It is within one or two degrees or two percentage points. Otherwise it transmits and receives easily. Set up was very easy as well. I consider it good enough for most homes, but because of the inaccuracy, it could be priced more modestly. I also wish the design incorporated first the option to hang on the wall (it doesn't) and also including a way to let it stand its own, instead of having table top display only for the main unit.

It hasn't worked yet.
I am still in the process of hopefully learning from the seller how to download the app that will drive the device. Otherwise the device is useless because it is connected to a smart phone by blue tooth in order for it to work. The instruction that came with the device has no phone number for support. The extreme small print on the instruction also is hard to read. It was supposed to be a breeze after scanning the QR code which should lead you to the app that enable downloading the software for user to choose what two languages he or she is currently interested in translating. However, the download process for Android phone such as my Samsung Galaxy 9 can have problem with download. I am waiting to see if seller will somehow try to help me fix it. Once fixed I will revise my review.
